The Mall Galleries has two doors!

Mall Galleries: showing different entrances (right click for larger image)
The purpose of this image is to remind people that the Mall Galleries has two entrances.
  • to submit artwork for an exhibition you need to go to the basement of their admin offices at 17 Carlton House Terrace- which is on the north west side of the building.  This is also the headquarters of the Federation of British Artists which comprises eight of the leading UK Art Societies.
  • to visit an exhibition you need to enter the galleries from the main gallery entrance near the top of The Mall - which is on the south east side of the building.  This entrance is the first door on the right of the terrace which goes down The Mall towards Buckingham Palace from Admiralty Arch.
You can find see pictures of the entrance to the two addresses on the Contact Us page which also provides addresses and contact telephone numbers

The Mall Galleries is also host to the exhibitions for some of the major art competitions in the UK - notably the Threadneedle Prize, the ING Discerning Eye and the Wildlife Artist of the Year (see Art Competitions in the UK - Resources for Artists).  The place to submit work for art competitions can be somewhere other than the Mall Galleries.
