The buying habits of fine artists

This week Making A Mark Reviews has featured a couple of posts about the buying habits of fine artists which highlight where they buy most of their art materials and supplies.

I've had a couple of opinion polls running since November 1987 on my resources for artists information sites about art supplies in the UK and USA (see end for links). They ask people to vote for where they buy most iof their art supplies.

Based on the poll results, both these posts (see links below) highlight the similarities and differences between where a sample of fine artists in the UK and USA choose to buy most of their art supplies
The images shown below record the results of the polls as bar charts. These are likely to be of interest to the various art shops and online suppliers of art materials and supplies including equipment for artists.

If you'd like to contribute to the poll, go to the relevant resources for artists site.

If you'd like to read my comments about the differences, click on one of the links (above) to the opinion poll results

If you'd like to comment on the results, please feel free to leave a comment below.
